Worldwide education services provider Navitas Limited (ASX: NVT) is pleased to announce that it has signed an agreement with Murdoch University to support its campus in Dubai, UAE.
Murdoch University is a Western Australian based research-led institution and a member of Innovative Research Universities Australia.
Murdoch University’s Dubai campus, was founded in 2008 and currently teaches a range of undergraduate and postgraduate programs to over 400 students. The campus offers programs in the areas of Business, Education, IT, Media and Communications.
Subject to the parties obtaining required regulatory approvals and the entry by Navitas into a premises lease for the campus, Navitas will commence its operational support of the campus from January 2019 for a period of 15 years until December 2033.
New programs are intended to be introduced and, to support growth, relocation of the campus may occur when appropriate premises in Dubai can be located, keeping in mind the interests of students.
All teaching programs and courses offered at the Dubai campus will be provided by Murdoch University, which will retain complete control over all academic matters. Navitas will be responsible for supporting the University, the provision of leased premises and facilities for the Dubai campus, contracting University-approved staff, administrative support and student recruitment.
