ClearVue Technologies Ltd Announced Technology Breakthrough

Development of frame-independent Insulated Glass Unit: ClearVue Technologies Ltd.’s (ASX: CPV) stock rose 30% on June 28, 2018 after the company took a significant step forward in its technology commercialisation strategy with the development of a frame-independent Insulated Glass Unit (IGU) to support its glass technology. Due to this technology breakthrough, the solar energy that was previously captured in photo-voltaic cells built around the inside of a window frame and then converted into energy will now be captured within solar cells built into the IGU structure itself. CPV for commercialization will now be able to widen up its scope for even greater licensing opportunities as clients no longer be dependent upon ClearVue proprietary window frame designs and can instead use industry standard frames produced by the majority of manufacturers. This will also significantly increase CPV’s potential to reach a global market faster. Moreover, CPV has already placed an order for 100 IGU window modules with its contracted manufacturer. Further, Australian Standards (AS) testing on its solar window and glass curtain wall solution is progressing on schedule and expected to be completed on time. Meanwhile, CPV stock has fallen 18.92% in one month as on June 27, 2018.
