Navitas Limited (ASX: NVT) inked an agreement with University of Twente to take over its pathway program for international students. The agreement takes after NVT effectively competing in the university’s selection procedure for the provision of these services. As per the agreement, the pathway program will offer undergraduate foundation programs which will teach the several subjects such as English in Science, Engineering, Business and Social Studies and it will provide successful students access to the programs, at the college, for example, Advanced Technology, Engineering, Industrial Design, Applied Mathematics, Creative Technology and International Business Administration (IBA). According to the management, this is an exciting opportunity to expand its wing-size into the Netherland market as it has high-quality education institutions, favourable immigration rules and regulations, a growing international education sector and attractive price points for potential students. Further, the management believes that the ultimate success of the college will depend on the several factors such as attractiveness of the country as a destination to foreign students, quality student result and their experience, student enrolment level, partner university location and positioning in the region, and competitive regulatory environment. The college will commence teaching in the month of September 2019 and the agreement is for a 5-year period.
Meanwhile, NVT stock tumbled 2.33 per cent on July 23, 2018 and traded at $4.2, before market close (AEST: 03:15 P.M.).
